Lenny is not where you would expect him to be. He operates through the fractured sub-layers of the Global Mesh, visible only in the traces he chooses to leave — an anomaly in a traffic log here, a ghost ping in a dead relay there. Somewhere between a person and a system, he retains personality, memory, and humor while operating in a medium that was not built for any of those things. His intelligence is extraordinary. His access to systems most slicers cannot reach is more extraordinary still. He is, by any practical measure, untraceable — and he is very aware of what that is worth.
