Lila started as Old Sienna's apprentice, learning the practical botany and field medicine of colony survival. What the Wastes made of her afterward is something Sienna did not intend: pragmatic past the point of sentiment, lethal when it becomes necessary, and willing to make decisions that most people would not frame as decisions at all. She is young, compact, and quiet in the way of someone who observes before committing. Her loyalty to the people she has chosen is absolute. Her mercy for those who threaten them is not.
